” In June 2009 I installed a 3 panel DRC10 solar package from Progressive Solar Heating. After a year or so of debating on whether I would or not I decided to get Solar installed. I spoke with Paddy Rose from Progressive Solar Heating and he explained in great detail the different options available to me. I decided to get a central heating support system installed where I could support my central heating with the solar as well as my hot water needs. I now have the system installed 12 months and am able to report back my findings. My system was commissioned at the end of June 09 and between this period and the middle of September my oil boiler did not come on. I had all the hot water I needed and this was by no means a great summer. In winter time the solar offered support to my central heating and further reduced my oil consumption. In 2009 I burned 1 tank of oil where I had normally burned 2. This related to huge savings on my fuel bill and also my electric bill with no futher need fro my immersion. The system was installed by Micheal Quirke and John O’Higgins who were a pleasure to have to do the job. They have a vast knowledge of their systems and carried out their work in a very professional manner. I would recommend to anybody contemplating solar to go and have a chat with Paddy, Micheal or John. They are only too happy to explain their products and systems available and will show existing ones in operation. I am glad I made the decision, it has saved me 50 % on my heating bill.”

“In January 2010, Paul Kelleher and his team began the installation of a Solar Panel system and heating upgrade for our home. A significant period of consultation preceded this process, where our many questions were answered. We were more than satisfied that Paul and his team were not only competent and knowledgeable about the job but also very approachable and personable. The process of installation went very smoothly, with minimum disruption to our home. The workers worked efficiently and on schedule and we were delighted with how cleanly they worked. In the months following the installation, Paul was always ready to answer questions or come to our house to explain the various nuances of the system.

The effect that the Solar Panel system had on our household was immediate. The Spring of 2010 was particularly sunny but even on dull days, the system pulled heat from the sky. The 300L water tank provides enough water for daily use and a reserve of water. The temperature in the tank frequently read 80oC and more.

Over the years, we have had occasion to use many trades people. Paul and his team stand out as a first-class operation. We have the greatest pleasure recommending Kelleher’s.”

I can see the difference especially with the showering and my electric bill has decreased significantly. I have recommended the system to many of my friends and family and spoke highly of the way the plumbers John Higgins, Micheal Quirke and their staff on their efficient work.
