Distinguishing features of KBB’s K4 Collectors are their optimised aperture area, their high efficiency and elegant design, as well as simple and flexible installation.

The new collector housing contains laser welded Cu or Al absorbers with 2 or 4 connectors. The rigorous prevention of thermal bridges allows the highest output levels. The secure glass mount featuring two separate sealing levels made of UV-resistant material guarantee ultimate product reliability and durability. The frame profiles are manufactured from high-strength, corrosion-protected aluminium. They are available in a full range of RAL colours.

The standard collector models are certified with the Solar Keymark.

KBB’s flat plate collectors are utilised in both small and large solar systems which generate solar heating or cooling.

The perfect integration into the roof has given this collector its name. The collectors replace the roof tiles or slate and can be used as a design element, adding to the overall look of a building. The thousand fold tested, highly valid method, plating system guarantees rainproof from up to a tilt angle of 30 degrees. A structured copper full face absorber, with a specially selected vacuum coating, a harp switch, and its double thermal length guarantees best results. The clear solar glass looks good and is very durable due to a special hardening process. Through the connection of more collectors it is possible to create a visibly appealing collector field.

Estec’s GREENHEAT technology stands for the cleanest absorber technology. The welded full-face absorber makes possible a highly efficient use of space. The collector tubes are completely covered, thereby preventing air turbulence and limiting the loss of heat at the solar cover.
